About IEDC:

Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Cell, DIAS, aims at creating, developing and disseminating knowledge for self-employment amongst students. It motivates them to become “Job Providers” rather than “Job Seekers”.

Objective:

  • To create awareness about entrepreneurship by providing Entrepreneurship education and training.
  • To develop an Entrepreneurial mind-set by imparting key skills such as business plan preparation, strategy, personal selling, creative thinking, and communication.
  • To provide a platform for mobilizing upcoming entrepreneurial talent and connect it to networks of ideas, mentors and funding. Set up Incubator for the purpose.
  • To promote Innovation culture in the Institute, learn about Design thinking, IPR and other innovation processes, and to use them as business tools in Enterprises

About REDC:

Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been created as part of an initiative of Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, (MNCRE) GOI

Objective:

  • To promote Rural Entrepreneurship Culture, Social Entrepreneurship, and Engagement with local communities to harness local resources and create positive impact on rural and local economy.
  • Placement and Internships in Farmers Producer Organizations (FPOs), NGOs, and CSR activities.
  • Imparting the relevant Knowledge, skills and attitude-Knowledge of Rural India, local resources, and economic environment; Skills of communication, creativity, innovative thinking. and technology usage; Mentoring and personality grooming.
