- To unite its members in the closed bonds of good fellowship and promote a better business and social interaction among them.
- To provide a common platform to the Institute, current students and former students for mutual benefit.
- To collect and disseminate information on current happenings, industry trends & practices, opportunities etc.
- To organize alumni meets and interactions.
- To recognize individual excellence in profession, and promote excellence in learning and development.

- Mailing list: As a part of DIAS Alumni Association member, one never has to wonder how they can keep in touch with their newly formed peers. To keep in touch, the Association allows all of its members to maintain the bond through DIAS Alumni social group.
- Alumni interactions: Attend the annual General Body meetings and also be the part of seminars, conferences, workshops.
- Search the fellow DIASian: Annual Alumni directory (on click and off click) released by DIAS Alumni Association provides with all the details of the fellow DIASian thereby making the search convenient.

The Alumni identifies and recognizes the outstanding performers of the year in Alumni General Meeting. The act of performance may be in their profession, in academics, in contribution to the institute, or in contribution to the society in general.
